I don't know why I make public statements like I am going to post every week!

Both babes are cruising along furniture now and Boo will stand on her own! They are both starting to teeth, we met some other 10 month old babies who had teeth and apparently Boo is just like her Momma and is very competitive, the next day she popped her first tooth! We can't get a pic of it though with those big lips! Apple's is just starting to show through. They have been pretty good through it all.

They also are starting to eat finger foods, Apple seems to catch on quicker to food related things even though he is the smaller one!

We can't believe how fast the time truly flies, it is almost their first birthday!

So....

I failed already. Seriously, this will be my New Year's resolution. I kept waiting because I was waiting to load pictures....for real.











Anyway, the kids are so much fun right now! They are exploring everything and smiling and laughing constantly! They are both standing up on things now and last night and this morning Boo reached out when I put my hands out to her. I have been waiting for that! So precious!

Apple is definitely going to be a daredevil, he loves to hang on things. He also stands up holding onto the poles of his playgym and it looks like he is windsurfing, I will try and catch a pic of it sometime...

Ok, it has been a long time

I am going to try and do this weekly again so people can stay up-to-date. Especially with flu season, we are just about on lockdown again.

Apple and Boo are getting so big, I just can't believe how fast it happens. I now know what people mean!

Apple is starting on some heavier food and milk to try and fatten him up a little and seems to like it. He ate all his oatmeal plus Boo's this morning! I don't know where it all goes. You can actually tell a difference when you pick him up after eating. He is getting the hang of crawling, he does: left, right, belly in quite a fast rotation!

Boo is off and crawling for sure. This morning she made it from the family room through the kitchen and into the hallway. I stepped out of our room and there she was just smiling at me.

Kevin just called and told me they just crawled up to each other and studied each other for a bit, so dang cute!!

Monday

Yesterday the boys finally got to meet Apple and Boo! It was so cute!


I had to go back to work today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be when I was crying about it yesterday! We brought the babies in for everyone to meet and then I had a ton of Emails to go through so that occupied most of my day. Everyone at work really helped make sure I survived the first day and I think I did alright. It helped knowing they were home with Kevin at least.

Thursday

Oh my our days go fast! They are getting so big so fast and looking older everyday. Apple is up to 5 lbs. now and Boo is well over 7 lbs.!

Friday

Gosh, our days go by so fast now. We are constantly saying, "Is it already...?". They are doing so well, I swear Boo smiled today when I was playing with her. She is such a happy baby, especially after she eats, it is like she is drugged!
Apple now weighs 4 lbs. 8 oz., the same Boo did when they were born. Neither of them have to go for weekly weight checks anymore! It is amazing how fast they are growing and changing.

Monday

Apple had an eye doctor's appointment and while I looked away, I still cried afterward. Both of them are being a bit fussy and neither slept well last night, poor little things. Yesterday Boo was wearing this outfit that had an apple on it and I realized how I never associate them with "Apple" and "Boo" anymore. Then I started thinking about that and how Apple was our little Apple and everything we went through with him and how it makes so much sense that I felt Boo more than Apple because Boo moves around so much more than Apple still!
We are so in love with them!
